REGISTRATIACCEDI

Physical experimentation, (through the project’s demonstrators), will allows to test and validate technological and operational situations that are currently only partially feasible in a real environment, due to cost limitations, technical regulations not yet adequate and an evolving regulatory framework. By integrating to the physical demonstrators, models of microgrids, virtually interconnected through numerical simulations in real-time of the portions of the system not physically represented, the MISSION Smart Grid project aims to:

  • testing and validating solutions to digitalize the networks, in order to analyze communication, interoperability and legacy problems, or the aspects and critical issues connected to the need to integrate the existing architectures and components into new smart energy networks;
  • studying and identifying technological and system solutions aimed at increasing the overall level of reliability and resilience concerning the specific operating environment;
  • best combining the capacity and offering of research innovation with the demand for innovation from the sector industries and related satellite activities, providing, at the same time, technological, technical-scientific and engineering services in response to industrial requests;
  • supporting the technology transfer actions of the results, products and services of the research carried out.
